"We arrived after a late flight into Heraklion, the welcome was warm with the offer of a cold welcome beer. The room was more than we expected woth plenty of space and good amenities. Morning arrived and we had a fabulous breakfast out on the deck admiring the view over the valley. We only spent a night here bit wish we could have had 1 more. Highly reccomended"

"A beautiful spot in a lovely village. We only wish we had stayed longer. Beds and rooms are spacious well lit and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with delicious fresh food with coffee and fresh orange juice. It’s the same every day so if you like variety best be prepared to cook in your room or walk. "Stunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. "
