"I had an amazing experience at this hotel. Beautiful historic in nature in an excellent location. This building is early 1800 but rooms are fairly modern. Don’t expect a modern $500 a night hotel but for the money it was more than I ever expected. "

"It was very difficult to find, as it was not where GPS said it was and we could not see it from the road. It was equivalent to a U.S. motel - nothing fancy but it suited our needs and was one of the few options we could find in the area. "

"I spent couple of days at this hotel and at the time was happy with the hotel and location was ideal for what we wanted to use it for. I booked through Expedia and on check out I said the hotel should be pad for already, the receptionist said no the money held s only for security and I need to pay. When I went to pay the receptionist tried to charge me 20 euros more then agreed but I didn't notice and put my chip and pin in and paid. He then apologised and gave me back 20 Euros in cash. However...

"Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und das liebevolle Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Rezeptionistin konnte gut Deutsch und konnte mit vielen tollen Tipps weiterhelfen. Die Zimmer wurden nur einmal pro Woche gereinigt, aber auch das Zimmerpersonal war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns vorsorglich sehr ausreichend mit Toilettenpapier, Mülltüten und anderem versorgt. Wir waren zur Nebensaison (Anfang Mai) im Hotel und leider war der hoteleigene Pool nicht gefüllt und somit unbenutzbar....

"we stayed at the apartment for one night before catching a ferry the next day for the Aeolian islands. We were welcomed by the staff and quickly shown our apartment. It was a nice room with a steaming hot shower; which felt great after a long day of travel. We ate at the michelin rated restaurant below the apartment–note: the aparment host also runs the restaurant. Highly recommend eating there, likely the one of the best restaurants in Milazzo. "It is very noisy at night ( Friday ).The bar next door plays loud music with people drinking in the street until 2am.!!!! Finally they go home at about 3am. It is such a shame because everything else is so good. I can not recommend it for this reason."

"We spent a week in this apartment and found it an ideal base for local outings, including Taormina and Etna. Forza d'Agro is a bit like a hill-top Sicilian St Ives - all tiny alleys and steep streets and stairs, with excellent restaurants. The chocolate museum was pretty original too! The apartment is well-equipped and clean, with a lovely terrace giving the most amazing views along the coast and across the valley to the mountains."
