"Lovely peaceful countryside farmhouse with plenty of space! This farmhouse reminded us of our Grandparents home on the farm where our Dad was raised, so when I saw it available on VRBO I knew it would be the perfect place to celebrate with our Dad for his 92nd Birthday! We prepared home cooked meals in the well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed meals together around the large dinner table, and afterwards played cards. "We loved Smithville. Perfect location to KC. No complaints but just want others to know it is a lived on property and close to airport so there is a lot of noise and air traffic. I sleep thru everything so it didn’t bother me! Great place if you want to kick back and relax all weekend for sure! "

"Description of house was as described. Communication with host was quick and easy. Location of house was perfect and away from the hustle and bustle of KC. The only thing I would probably suggest would be for the cleaning fee paid of $150, I would expect house to in perfect condition. The refrigerator needed to be wiped out and I had to rewash some of the dishes before using them. But I am super picky about cleanliness.
