"As a 1926 house should be, it was very unique from the slanted floors to the train motif. We found the train passing to be negligible; we brought earplugs but didn’t use them. It was a quiet and beautiful location."

"Lovely, large, comfortable space nicely equipped with everything needed for a fun getaway. There is no air conditioning but, between the living room ceiling fan and windows, the place stayed nice and cool (just make sure each window/door screen has no holes before opening it as there are LOTS of bugs outside). Both bathrooms are on the second floor so anyone sleeping downstairs must be willing (and able) to climb stsirs"

"This property is just as seen in the pictures. It had a fully stocked kitchen and ample room for the four of us. The beds were comfy and rooms were clean. I think the only downside was the bed in the second room. We thought it was a Queen size and it turned out to be a double. Otherwise the home was just perfect . The porch is netted which served it’s purpose by protecting us from the occasional wayward golf ball coming from Plumas Pines 4th hole as we enjoyed our dinners outside. Overall our stay was delightful and we would definitely come back to this home in the future."

"This is a lovely home in a convenient location for golfing and hiking. There are good restaurants within steps. Every room was very clean and well furnished. The kitchen is very well stocked with new cookware and utensils, plus there are some extra supplies in the kitchen (coffee/tea/spices) and bathroom (toothbrush/toothpaste) that you don't find in most rentals. It was also great not having to carry a key when we went out. I look forward to staying here again."
