"Nice little place for you and your wife and our little Chihuahua loved the little fenced in area in the back. The cottage was very clean. Inside parking is a little tight if you got a big vehicle but that’s no big deal. We stayed three nights with no issues. Good water, pressure good hot water. We didn’t really cook there. We ate out."

"A Louisiana native, I booked the property the weekend of my wedding at Palmetto's to a Massachusetts groom. We stayed in the house with his closest friends, and got permission to use the location for an extended family picnic on Sunday. My husband's people had minimal experience in Louisiana, and the grounds did not disappoint. "What a great oasis—this was the perfect place for our adult family of five to get away from our busy lives. The outdoor spaces are comfortable and there was plenty of things to do without leaving the property. Excellent restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive meant we only went into the city once. Rick is a perfect host, communicating regularly and responding quickly. We would stay here again!"
