The sauna was the selling point (didn’t disappoint), but the property itself was awesome and the house had great amenities. very close to ski trails and Mazama store. Will definitely be booking again. The only small downside was the dishwasher wasn’t working but no big deal, our group didn’t mind washing by hand! "

"Fantastic conditions for skiing right out our door. Cabin was very clean and updated from new ownership. Great to have Smart TV for evening shows. The kitchen is well supplied and understated in description as there is a premier coffee system and other cooking items. Hosts reliable in answering questions. Only problem we had was heater alarm one night (changed the setting to shut it off) and finding where to take trash (bit of a walk from cabin)"

"We rented cabins 7A and 7B for our 3-generation family gathering. The location was fantastic. Some of us rented Nordic skis and enjoyed the easy access to all the trails. Others had a great time snowshoeing around the area. The cabins themselves were beautiful. We loved the rustic-industrial aesthetic. We adored the giant scrabble board and appreciated that other games and puzzles were also provided. A few issues were that several people in both cabins found the pillows to be much too thick and dense, and didn’t sleep well as a result. We called management but they were unable to provide alternatives. We loved having the wood-burning stoves, but the firewood provided was cut so that most pieces were too long to fit into the tiny stoves. We picked through the firewood to find a few that just barely fit. The place overall was very clean but we found quite a few kitchen items that were put away dirty (probably by previous guests) "

"Mazama is west of Winthrop in Washington state. It is BEAUTIFUL! The mazama pub is excellent! There are miles and miles of amazing trails to hike, ride, cross country ski, fat bike, etc. We loved the location of the cabin. It suited our needs, and we'd stay there again. "
