"Check in was easy and staff friendly. The room was clean. Even though it was a busy night at the pub with the quiz night you couldn’t hear it inside the room. One are for improvement is the check out method. The notice in the room says that if you plan to check out ‘very early’ please let a member of staff know to be told the key box code. In our minds this would around 6 or 7am and so we didn’t ask the staff. When we were ready to check out the next day at 9am there was no one there or anyone...

"Wonderful place to stay! Staff was so friendly and nice! On the main street with the river behind it. Can't ask for a nicer location! Plenty of room to visit, play cards, have a drink or just reflect on your day!"

"It was a wonderful surprise. The staff was super attentive and helpful. I upgraded my room when we arrived to a king size bed. Very comfortable. Bathroom was modern and clean. It’s a lively, out of the way hotel. I’d definitely recommend it. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kirkstyle. Rooms were very spacious, lovely and clean and had everything you could possibly need. Excellent choice for breakfast and food was hot and delicious. Staff could not do enough for you and were extremely helpful and friendly. Hopefully can find a reason to return one day. "

"We had a lovely time. From the moment we were greeted at reception on the first day till the day we left. Everyone was so nice and couldn’t have done enough for us. Our 2 dogs were made so welcome and our dining experience wasn’t reduced in any way because of them. Harriet should get a mention as nothing was too much trouble for her.
