"Our second stay here was amazing overall, but disappointed again in the service at the restaurant. The hotel and spa and service could not be faulted, but the service in the restaurant is so slow. We waited 17minutes before being asked for drinks, the gentleman next to us had been waiting 50minutes for his main and was having the same u pleasant experience. The first time we stayed I actually had to get up after about 20 minutes to ask the staff to serve us our drinks. Both occasions the restaurant was so quiet, not sure where the issue lies. Furthermore the gentleman next to us complained and it was brushed off. "

"Lovely room, perfectly placed, very well equipped. Beautiful setting on the riverside, with a riverside walk on the doorstep. Nice little Howdens kitchen. Instructions for everything and local maps are very handy."
