"Spent a long weekend with two other couples for some fishing and group bonding. Had a great time with alot of good memories. Though the fishing wasn't as good as we hope, that was more a testimony to our skill level than the lake :). Plenty of room for all of us having our own bedroom and bathroom and the kitchen was spacious with a large island and dinning room table for meals, cards and dominos in the evening. "We shared this home with my sister-in-law’s family. The kids - ages 2 - 17 - had a blast in the basement with the games. The adults enjoyed the hot tub. "A wonderful place to stay! This was our first time at Lake Gaston and it did not disappoint. The house was clean and spacious but we spent most of our time outside on the covered deck- our favorite part of the house. We love that the home was dog friendly- our pup loved lounging on the covered deck and dock with us. "Build in some time for check out cleaning - especially if you have the whole place occupied. Suffice to say there was lots of booze drunk, full trash in the many bathrooms and a kitchen full of food after our four days of a party of 22!! We had a blast and the vibe and river were perfect. We swam, kayaked, hot tubbed and hung out in the many lounge spaces. The house is well set up and maintained!!"
