"This is a beautiful modern house on a long, long stretch of golden sand beach. The house has tons of windows and high ceilings so you feel like you are outdoors. It is a two level house so is perfect for larger family or just a couple (one bedroom on the main floor). It’s minutes from a boat launch. There are also smaller inland lakes nearby. The hosts are very nice folks. There is a lot to do in the area in spite of the feeling of being remote. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

Hosts have attention to detail; artsy decorations, games for kids and adults, reading material, wood swing, fire pit, etc. As pics show, decks in front and side of house as well as sun room for chilly mornings or inclement weather. "This was my second trip staying at this home. The host is very responsive and pleasant to work with. The home is clean, cozy and is stocked with small amenities such as spices, antibiotic ointment, bug spray and recreation maps of the area. I visit Big Bay multiple times a year this is now the first place I check for availability!"

"This house was so perfect for our family of 7 adults, an 8 year old, and 5 month old! It had everything we needed and more! We loved the “poker room” and hooked out switch up to have game night, the sauna was incredible and inspiring me to build one in my basement, the kitchen was incredible and loved they had an extra kitchen in the basement! "Dan has the rental set up very well. Its a nice property on the lake with a dock and one kayak. Fire pit and chairs are seated by the dock so you can have a fire looking at the lake. There are other properties close by. I believe they are seasonal because during our entire stay closest people we saw were 2 to 3 cottages away from us. I would highly recommend this rental. Thanks Dan for everything. We enjoyed our stay."
