"Overall very good hotel in Maidstone town centre . Staff was very helpful ."

"The hotel was in a great spot for the 1940’s weekend. They were understaffed at breakfast and the food wasn’t nice For the price you have to pay. The room was fine but we were charged for an early check in and the room wasn’t ready. Luckily they refunded this cost but the communication seemed a bit slack. "

"Overall this was a good stay, helped by the very helpful and friendly staff and the large, quite comfortable room. Oh, and the evening meal was v. nice on both evenings (if a little pricey) However .... my room (number 6) had a window that just would not close properly, which was concerning and a bit chilly. Also, the TV reception was virtually non-existant. I did ask, but was given some explanation about work being underway to do something to something on the roof."

Wonderful stay

"Staff were extremely helpful at all time, nothing was too much trouble. Room was amazing with comfortable bed and breakfast was lovely. We didn’t use the spa facilities but found the parts of the hotel we did use to be extremely clean and welcoming."

"We stayed here one night to visit the cathedral, and I would stay here again! The staff was so helpful and attentive, the room was comfortable, and the location is great for dining spots and walking to the cathedral. The rooftop bar next door, which (at the time we went) gave discounts to hotel guests, has amazing night views of the cathedral!"
