"We couldn't of had a GREATER place to stay for all of us. The house was amazing with everything you need with comfy beds and pillows. We used all bedrooms even the little cottage which was cozy and warm. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for five nights. We even used the the grill."

"My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Coffee on the porch to start our days, and then relaxing by the firepit to cap it off. My kids loved playing on the dock and rocks along the shore. They could have spent a whole week down there. My one criticism is the lighting in the living room / kitchen is lacking. It seemed dark in there, even in the middle of the day with all the windows. Other than that, it was great!"

"This is the most perfect place to go for much needed rest and relaxation! The house is perfect for two. It’s beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a short getaway. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. We especially enjoyed sitting in the deck watching the sun shine down on beautiful Smith Lake. The bed is very comfortable and that shower is amazing! I am sure you are paying a cleaning company well and you may want to doa spot check. Also - no hot pads and need a few new cookie sheets(rusty.)"

"The pictures really don't do this place justice. The views are breathtaking! The cabin is cute and quaint. The furniture was very comfy and we loved the porch area too. The bed was very firm but we managed. This place really is well stocked and had pretty much everything. We came in for the AAYS World Series for girls softball. It was worth every bit of the drive into Gardendale to play ball. Didn't hurt that our team brought home the Championship for 18u division. If we are in the area again,...

"The inside of the house was as pictured in the photos. The house was clean. Nice towels and bedding. King bed was comfortable. We were a group of 7, and could have used more seating in the living room though. A great feature of the house was the boat slip. Had we known how narrow the roads to get there were, we would have dropped the boat off before going to the house, so that's worth noting. Overall a good stay though!"

"I rented the cabin for my ex-wife, youngest son and his wife, and myself. My oldest son and his family live in the area. We celebrated Christmas at the cabin. We celebrated my grandson's birthday. The cabin was perfect as our base for the visit. The home owner communicated with us and keep us informed as we prepared to travel their and after we were in the cabin! Would love to be there to enjoy the lake during the summer. "
