"The hotel is a great location, you are able to park and easily Uber or walk to wherever you need to go without the hassle of trying to find parking in town. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the breakfast was very good, and we were greeted by peacocks at the front door, to the delight of our daughter. "

"Unique and interesting property. We stayed 2 days and received a complimentary upgrade to a large suite. Weather was rainy and cold, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor sitting area, but it looked lovely. Breakfast very good and our hostess congenial. Only criticism is that tables and chairs were very small and cramped for eating."

"We loved the Storytellers Villas. The location in Sintra was perfect for us, with the bus stop right across the plaza. Our villa had 2 rooms and 1 bathroom with plenty of hot water for washing dishes and showering at the same time. The beds were firm but not uncomfortable with plenty of pillows and extra blankets. "The best place if you want to visit Quinta da Regaleira, Pena Palace and Moorish Castle. Steps away from restaurants and shops. The bus stop is right next to the hotel. The service received was the best of all the hotels visited in Portugal. They helped us with everything, from before we arrived with specific instructions. The breakfast was very good. "Room was bright, clean and well put together, but property the lacked a common indoor area, so we were cooked up in our room as it was drizzling throughout our stay. "A mixed experience at the villas. The villas sit within the boutique hotel grounds which is partnered with the main hotel. You can use all of the facilities for both with a small gym at the boutique and pools at both.
