"well i would like to have given 5 stars as so much of this villa is beautiful the outside area living areas and kitchen 5 star. However we had some issues with the bedrooms . Two of the bedrooms were fine despite small bathroom in one.The other two bedrooms were very small for two adults virtually no hanging space for clothes. "Beautiful gardens to enjoy in front and back, spacious rooms. Close to many sites, yet not in the city. Grocery store close however a but car is required. Hosts were very gracious and close by. Library, piano and harp adorn this stone decor. Truly worth the stay. "

"The house was well sized and decorated and equipped with all appliances required and aircon for every room so was very comfortable. The balcony at front and garden at back was very useful for catching or avoiding sun at appropriate times of day. Some minor issues with coffee maker and fridge which were replaced quickly when reported and always had a mesage before anyone came to the property The pool was nice (sunloungers a bit dated) and we played tennis a few times when not too hot Loved...

"Fabulous villa. Spacious, modern, super clean and tastefully decorated. Great kitchen with all mod cons. Approx 20 mins to Sintra (can take much longer if you want to visit the sights in Sintra as there’s a lot of traffic!) but Sintra is so lovely. There’s a small beach a few minutes drive but we drove to Cascais a couple of times (30mins drive) as the sea was calmer. Lovely garden and pool. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. "

"We had a great stay in the house of Alexandre in Cascais. Very spacious and with all the necessary equipment. We loved the garden and had dinner outside on the terrace. The house is close to the beach (15 minute walk), to Sintra (20 minutes) and Lisbon (30 minute drive). We visited Lisbon several times. It's in a very quiet neighborhood. The communication with Alexandre and Kikas was always fast and friendly. We hope to come back one day."

"The position of this house is great - across the road from the sea and by a fantastic beach. The house itself was very basic. It was advertised as a 3 bed but only had 2 bedrooms which was disappointing. It also did not have a hot tub as advertised. There was no gas in the kitchen so we could not use the cooker and the owner did not respond to a message about it. There was also no kettle. "Overall a very nice stay. Nice sized house with a good layout for a big family. The location was great for exploring the whole area. It is a long walk into Sintra so a ride is pretty much necessary but Ubers are everywhere."

"Perfect having pool for kids but rarely used as it was too cold. Location well situated w easy access to Sintra, Caiscais and Lisbon. Luxuriously spacious home and garden built in the last century must require extensive maintenance, so there were a few challenges with plumbing and windows, but very good value, overall and a great stay!"

"The property far exceeded our expectations. It was such a beautiful and tranquil setting surrounded by bikable landscapes And cafés. The property itself had so many features. You could easily spend a whole week there. my only regret is I wish we had more time. The host was so helpful. She even helped us find a Private chef and a yoga instructor!
