"I attended Mining INDABA 2025, and due to not booking my accommodation on time, I ended up staying in Simon's Town, which is an hr drive from the Conference Centre. Tinswalo is located in a quiet and predominantly white suburb of Cape Town. It offers breathtaking views, and the place is superb. "This was an excellent stay. The hotel contacted us in advance to offer early access to the room and to confirm our arrival time. The hotel manager, Wonderful, was a welcoming and helpful host. The room was super clean, spacious and very comfortable with a wonderful sea view. The hotel is within walking distance of a good restaurant and grocery and wine stores are near by. "While a simple accommodation, it is clean and the location is priceless-adjacent to Boulders Beach. The staff, while on-site were helpful. I had read an earlier post that they did not serve dinner.
