"This was my third stay at the Mariner's Guesthouse, and I would not stay anywhere else. The accommodations are top shelf, the staff is more than helpful and quite gregarious. "What I liked about this hotel was the location and that there was adequate parking outside. Whilst the hotel didn't have a restaurant and we had to go outside to a local place, it wasn't any distance and the food options were what I expected"

"Great place! Amazing view! More space than we needed! Andre was fantastic at welcoming us and giving us fabulous recommendations for dining and activities. Felt fantastic spending time in Simon's town. Stay down here. See the penguins and the Cape. Sure, you can drive up to Capetown, but stay here!"

"Owner was not present at property or picking up calls on my arrival date. The neighbours has not seen owner for a while. ADT patrol could not get through either and owner has not responded to the other two callouts. The property looks like it has been ransacked and burgled. I had to report to police. It was alarming to see property like this on arrival. Also had to find alternative accommodation last minute which was an inconvenience. "
