"This rental is a DUMP. The exterior is littered with garbage, old lawn furniture, broken playground equipment, discarded building materials and dead mice. The inside is camped, dark and dirty (our white socks were filthy two seconds after walking around the house). The village of Saxeten, however, is lovely. It is remote, peaceful and surrounded by gorgeous mountains. Many of the homes here are very tidy and well-kept, so this rental seems to be a blight to the community"

"I donā€™t know where to begin- everything about our stay was absolutely AMAZING! We were greeted by Klara and her son. They had the fire place started and house warmed up, which was perfect since we had our two toddlers with us. The view from the dining area and top balcony is breathtaking. We couldnā€™t stop looking out the whole time of our stay. "Everything about our 4 night stay at Klara's was wonderful. She was there when we arrived and explained everything. The views from the unit are spectacular.. The apartment was spotless and was fully equipped. Having a rental car is a good idea. Klara's house is within a 10-15 minute drive to many great hiking and viewing spots. If you are visiting the Interlaken area and are looking for a great spot to stay, you will not be disappointed staying at Klara's. Promise!"
