"Wonderful welcome on arrival by the owner, Sue. The room is lovely and big with a large bathroom, it's spotlessly clean everywhere with beautiful decor. There is a little fridge in the room with milk for hot drinks, a nice touch. The breakfast each morning is superb with the best eggs we've ever tasted (from their own chickens). We have already booked for next year at the same time. Highly recommended."

The dining room & sitting room had views onto the pretty garden in which you could relax on the terrace with a glass of wine. "The location was great for our purposes and the parking was good. Breakfasts were excellent, there was a nice patio and garden out the back. Well-run family B&B. The principal negatives were the noise (our suite overlooked the main road) and the very spasmodic Wi-Fi. At this price point it was disappointing."

Perfect Weekend Break

"We had a lovely weekend break at Mount Pleasant Hotel. The hotel was situated in a quiet area only a few minutes walk from Sidmouth beach & shops. Our room was spotlessly clean & comfortable. The dining room & sitting room had views onto the pretty garden in which you could relax on the terrace with a glass of wine. The breakfast & evening meals were also delicious so we would recommend staying there for dinner. We were lucky to have glorious weather for our stay & were perfectly placed to explore the surrounding area. We will definitely be returning to this hotel in the near future. "
