"Our accommodation was cancelled at our check in time. We had booked 6 months our and when we we're trying to confirm check in, they cancelled it and issued a refund. They wouldn't offer other accommodation as it's 24 houra out. This caused our family extreme distress and cost us financial burden. "When we arrived we weren't sure about Chai T. House, but it has exceeded expectations. Chai T house is a little dated, and the open house and use of wood makes it a bit damp. The kids missed a place to unwind with some screen time. The house does have a tv, but it wasnt working. "The villa is tucked away at the end of a quiet side road in Tibubeneng. It’s some way north of Jl Raya Canggu and you’ll need to leave at least 25-30 minutes to get to the beaches of Canggu by scooter (essential) given the normal S Bali traffic. "Fabulous villa only a short drive into central Ubud. Very quiet of a night time and the pool was amazing. Highly recommended if you want to be close to restaurants etc but want sone peace and quiet. Staff were fabulous and the Owner checked in with us daily to make sure we were OK with everything."

"We had the most wonderful stay in Ubud at lovely Noka House. The villa itself is breathtaking along with its position near paddy fields. Lots of wildlife, birds and insects to keep us company. Nyoman, Ketut and Wayan are so gracious and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. "Beautiful villa- very nicely decorated with everything you could need. Beds and pillows very comfy. Very well kept and clean… Komang did a great job each day cleaning and making sure everything was ok. Dollar the driver was great too. Pool lovely and views of rice paddy great. Very tranquil and relaxing. Easy to get around by taxi or scooter.. can walk to ubud but is about 40 minutes… some local restaurants near and bakery at end of road. Lots to do in the vicinity. "Great resort for those with kids. Kids club and pools are staffed by friendly people who genuinely love interacting with the kids. Only downside is the distance from the beach - although only a 10-15min walk by adults, it’s challenging to walk with small kids on the busy roads which are shared by cars, scooters, motorcycles and pedestrians. "I had a great experience at the hotel. They have lot of dining options and a shuttle available to go to Ubud City. On my last day I had a negative experience with breakfast. I had explained about the egg allergy. They brought meal with egg. They took it back and removed the egg from my plate. I kindly explained that they need to remove the areas that there were bits of egg. They took it back and did the same thing again. I gave up and ate a bit of my breakfast and lost my interest in eating. This would be my biggest concern that they would need to make a new meal if my allergy was serious. Overall my stay was great. "
