"This review is specifically for room number 0, the twin room (bunk bed). The top bunk bed was uncomfortable. Whether you put your head on one side (right next to the AC) or the other (next to a wall indent with MOLD) it is impossible to sleep. As for the changing rooms (connected to the showers), they also have mold on the walls. The exhaust fans in the toilet rooms barely work resulting in a perpetual unpleasant smell. There is no sink to wash your hands in the toilet rooms yet the hand...

"Really friendly staff. Awesome spot. Really felt like a true hostel experience. Very clean. Never had a problem with anything during my stay. I would stay again and recommend to anyone who was travelling in the area! "

"部屋にテレビなし。ベッドは埃や髪の毛が落ちていて衛生的に問題あり。掛け布団はシミあり。枕カバーやシーツは自分でやらないといけない。掃除もされてなくて。ユニットバスも汚く、シャワーヘッドをかけるところも取れそうな状態だった。宿泊代は安いが改善が必要。"

"We loved our time at Fuji Guesthouse. We stayed in their traditional Japanese room, which was spacious for the two of us the night before we began our Mt. Fuji ascent. Both staff members we interacted with were not only kind during our stay, but extended their hospitality beyond it, offering us to store our luggage while we were on the mountain, and allowing us to shower upon our return. It was a great experience in a small town. Next time I find myself in Fujikawaguchiko, I will certainly try...

"Laundry was easy to use. Kitchen was underwhelming. The floor in the room was very unclean, but there were fresh towels everyday and the room was serviced each day. "

"チェックインの仕方がメールで案内されているといった話だったのですが、メール自体が届いておらず少し戸惑いました。基本的にはスタッフの方がいないようで、自由にチェックインチェックアウトするという形なので、時間を気にせずに済むのはとても楽でした。共用スペースがおしゃれで、人も少なめなのでゆったり過ごせました。コスパの良いホステルだと思います。"

"This is the best possible place you can stay in when you are in the Kawaguchiko area. At $50 a night, the full on view you get of Mt Fuji is priceless. Beautiful private room (if you opt for that) which is clean and cosy. The only con is that it’s a shared bathroom but it was equipped with real good soap and conditioner and clean as well. Highly recommended. "

"If we could rate higher than excellent we would. The host is the nicest person ever. The beds were so comfortable, and they had the best western style pillows. A small selection of free breakfast items were offered which was fantastic. Location was so close to Fujisan station, and it was really clean."

"今回、山梨での研修会の際に利用させて頂きました。よく研修会の行われる山梨リハや富士温泉病院から自転車で5分ほどと近く、大変利用しやすかったです。自転車の貸し出しもあったので、研修会への移動や買い出しにも便利に利用できました。施設は、民宿風で鉄道の模型や写真などがあり、そこまで鉄道ファンでも無い私ですが、素敵な空間でした(^^)。とてもアットホームな環境であり、和風の部屋に温泉にも入る事ができたので大変満足しました。また、スタッフさんも親切な方で、リラックスして宿泊できました。家族で利用したり、研修会での利用、個人の利用などでもおすすめです(^^)！"

"Really nice place, big could fit 4/6 people easy. There was only two of us so we had lots of space. Location was decent. About 15/20min nice walk from mt fuji station. You get your own private indoor hot tube,you have to fill it yourselves,theres a hob fridge and microwave. Also really nice views of Mt fuji. We would stay here again "

"Very pleasant stay. Great view of Mt. Fuji right at the front door of the resort. Everything you need is provided. Best dinner ever with the BBQ they provided. We bought very fresh food at nearby supermarket and grilled them for dinner. Staffs were really helpful while I sprained my ankle the first night. Appreciated their help."

"We had the best time on our 1 night stay here. We booked a room with a private onsen and half board. It was very easy for us to call for the hotel shuttle when we arrived at Kawaguchiko Station. There is an area for hotel shuttle pick up where we waited for only 10 min or so. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable. The heater in the room worked well. The private bathroom, shower, and onsen all worked well. I loved that we had a view of Mt Fuji from our private onsen bath when the clouds were clear. Our kaiseki dinner was served in our room and it was delicious. The chef even had an extra seasonal dish included with our meal. It was such a wonderful new experience for us. Breakfast also very delicious and set up in the common eating area which had a great view of the the late and mountains. The hotel has a great rooftop Mt. Fuji view of the whole area and I recommend venturing up there. We did not have time to visit the public onsen but I would love to visit here again in the future and try it out. The staff was kind and helpful, everything was clean, quiet, and relaxing. "
