"Great place to stay, with lots of character, especially maritime related. Staff were amazing, very friendly and welcoming. We had an issue with our bathroom and the staff attended to our needs immediately. Fabulous food, the standard and quality was high end at affordable prices. Would definitely visit Seahouses again, and stay at The Olde Ship Inn. Would recommend to others."

"You have to understand you're staying in a heritage building, within a town centre, above a busy, excellent pub/resteraunt. To some extent, the bedroom is a secondary consideration. However, staff very friendly, room warm & comfortable, food excellent and ideal for exploring Alnwick. Great stay, but don't expect the Ritz. "

"Stayed one night for an event in the area. The property is a little tired, the walls are thin so you can hear people in other rooms. There is ample parking and the location is great for accessing Alnwick."

"We enjoyed a fantastic 2 night trip over the bank holiday weekend. This was a lovely place to stay, beautifully decorated throughout, VERY comfortable beds, very clean. Its in a peaceful location (2 minutes from the Chillingham cattle visitor centre). Our host Mhairi couldn't have been more thoughtful or welcoming during our stay. Beautiful hotel

"Beautiful hotel and room, in a great location to visit Alnwick town and Castle. Leigh and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. We didn’t have our evening meal at hotel (though definitely will do on our next visit!) however the breakfast was delicious with a great variety to choose from. "
