"It was a nice stay if you want to stay somewhere traditional. We stayed for one night ant the guest house and we wanted the experience. The place didn’t feel clean. We saw French fries and napkins on the floor when we checked in. Overall it was a good stay. The bedding was very comfortable. One of the rooms has a green exit sign which was very bright when you go to sleep. "

Location is great, around 5 minutes driving to Kyoto Station but not as crowded because it’s in a quiet neighborhood, which we liked it. There are paid parkings nearby as well, so if you travel with car it’s not a problem. They provided us a dinner recommendation, booked the taxi and booked the table. It was one of the best dinners we had in Japan and was in Pontocho Alley, which is a pretty popular area!
