"Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Could use some upgrades to the TV and bathroom. Pool could also use some updating but it was nice overall. Disappointed the hot tub was not working."

"The place was closed and looks like it has been for quite sometime. The outside was run down and litter all over. We drove 5 hours to get there and even had a confirmation number from hotel. Com. Very disappointed!!!!!!"

"Breakfast menu and food were very good. Keurig coffee makers in each room would be a nice amenity. Very strong deodorizer smell in room (almost nauseating)."

"Beautiful hotel, extremely clean, great staff. The continental breakfast left a little to be desired, but it got us started for our morning. Super convenient to W&L and VMI. We were in town for a wedding and were able to walk to all locations from the hotel. Would absolutely stay here again! "

"Amazing property. Modern Omni resort with a strong historical connection. Where else can you enjoy the same hot springs that George Washington and Thomas Jefferson swam in. Very high class being America’s “first resort”. Had a blast! FYI if you do book, make sure you also book out your activities at least a month out in advance otherwise you will miss out on a lot of high-end/fun activities and experiences; since people all over the world come to this isolated resort in the beautiful mountains of Virginia"
