"Clean hotel. Room was a disabled room which was fine, but felt unusually empty with a weird layout (e.g TV wasn’t viewable from the bed) and the wet room feels more like a gym than a hotel. The wet room also flooded as the drain wasn’t up to scratch. It was an absolute bargain though overall and was perfectly clean."

When checking in Alison on reception was really kind, telling my husband he could go back to the hotel and use their facilities even after check out. She even loaned us her own usb plug overnight so we could charge our devices. We have known the hotel for years, my husband went to King Edward’s school across the road, and I used to stay on business in the 1980’s and 90’s. We also held my husband’s 60th birthday party there...

"Great hotel, perfectly located for my business trip. Great breakfast selection and service was great from Ben in the bar with my drinks and evening meal. My only two minor grips would be the pillows were quite firm, may offer feather ones if requested and the gym cardio equipment was quite sparse. But saying that I'll be back in about 3 months when I visit Sheffield again"

"Had a really good stay at Mercure Sheffield Parkway. Had to mark down slightly on a couple of things. 1, had a problem with the tv, which was sorted, but then happened again. 2, bed was comfortable but found the pillows a bit too firm. Otherwise the room was very good, with plenty of space, and a good bathroom especially the shower which was spacious and hot. Really handy to have the small fridge too. And dogs allowed , yippee. "
