"I hesitate to write a good review because we really like this place and don’t want to lose it, but Dan has always been an excellent host and deserves the truth. We are a group of women who come down every November, our third time in this location and we are sold on it. As everyone says: clean, good location, great host response, also love the gazebo and the layout of the social area with two tables and a bar that make it possible for games, puzzles, and eating to all go on at the same time. "Except for having zero toilet paper late Sunday evening when we arrived and a screaming baby for the first night, it was wonderful. There were no occupants next door after the first night. It really needs sound deadening between the walls."

"This house is great! Very clean and loaded with upscale furnishings. Layout is perfect with 2 bedrooms sharing a bath on each side of the house. Very cool showering experience!! Kitchen is very well stocked - we had everything we needed to prepare meals - and the gas grill was a plus for steak night! Hanging out by the pool was very relaxing - we did not use any of the pool or beach toys but there are plenty in the garage. Having a refrigerator downstairs in the garage was also helpful...

The kitchen is great for group dinners - we invited a guest chef and this was super fun with plenty of space for 3 large courses! The pool table was fun, we could not find the foosballs for the table. We could not get the home theater to work but didn't call the host as it wasn't a big deal. "Great location close to shops in Southport and very short drive to Bald Head Island ferry. Very clean property with fully fenced back yard. Property owners very accessible for any questions. Hope to stay again."

"Well stocked kitchen as well as pool and beach supplies. Large pool. Pool heater worked well. My only suggestion would be to have the 'no dogs in the pool' rule in the property details so you know that before you get there."
