"Hotel was well situated in the heart of the village, easy to locate with plenty of onsite parking. Next door to a great pub with good food. Room was very clean and tidy with a sea view. Breakfast was really good. Very friendly place, would definitely stay again if in the area. "

"What a house! We were a family of 13 and stayed over Christmas. It was just fantastic. The house is spacious, perfectly positioned in the village and has everything you could possibly want for a large family. We noted the comments about noise but it’s just the nature of a house with wooden floors and wasn’t an issue for us. "Really fantastic place and a great host, so quick to reply if we had a question. Well stocked kitchen etc.The village is beautiful. Plenty of cafes, pics, Beach, rock pooling, walks. Eat to get to Teignmouth across the estuary by ferry, car or on for via the bridge. Highly recommend! Note that the fireplace is not real, but the place is so small and the heating effective it's still very cozy."

"We stayed at Saltwater over the Christmas period and was able to enjoy all that Shaldon has to offer at this time of year.Saltwater was a great property for the two of us. It is in an ideal position with its own parking (which is a must in the village), close to the centre and all the activity. It was an ideal size for us, spotlessly clean and decorated for Christmas for our arrival- which was a very nice touch.Thank you!"

"A really lovely place to escape the busyness of life. Quiet and no light pollution, we had amazing nights sleeps! Nicely kitted out property, we loved relaxing in the gorgeous lounge. Imagine it would be even nicer in summer! Hot tub was great though we could have done with a bit more information on how to use it more efficiently. A couple of towelling robes would have been a nice addition too! Overall a really great experience."
