"If you want a family holiday up to 9 people in South Devon in the Countryside, staying in a traditional thatched cottage, then this is the place for you. Amazing character set in a beautiful village location, close to all the beaches for the children but far enough away from the crowds and traffic in August. "We had a wonderful stay on Dartmoor. It was blissfully quiet and the views and walks on your doorstep were stunning. The property was just as described and provided everything we required. We wanted to get away from the normal busy life for a week of rest along with being with nature and the outdoors. "Amazing location, amazing house and huge dining table so we could all break bread together! Lovely amenities and washer and dryer were a dream. Only recommendation would be to add hairdryers (at least one) and games or books, at least playing cards. Beautiful stay and highly recommend Torquay Watersports for coastal explorer -90 min. "

"A family of 9 and 3 dogs, we stayed for a week. The property was lovely and catered for all our family needs. It is big and airy with plenty of seating for everyone. The utility room was a must, having 2 small children with us and it was great to have the hot tub to jump into after a busy day. The downsides were that there was very limited hanging space in the bedrooms and it would benefit from hooks on the back of the doors and a full length wardrobe in the bedrooms.
