"The owners of the place are fantastic, warm people, they welcomed us as family, despite the language problems :-) The flat is very clean, very spacious and perfectly equipped. The decoration, furniture and equipment is a bit old-school and used already, but still it is a great value for the price. We loved the garden, with small pool. Car is a must there. The way to Porto is very straight forward and takes about 20 minutes, same for the nearest beach. We highly recommend this place!"

"Brilliant facilities in the apartment complex. The underground garage parking was an absolute Godsend as there is not a space to be found in the area due to the popularity of the resort. The apartment is the owners home and was equipped with everything you need. The owner met us and was very generous with offerring us to use any food in the cupboards. "What a very cool place! If you like interesting lodging and nature, you will love this place. It is a bit off the beaten path however, so you'll require a car. Definitely take them up on the offer to stay for dinner. Dona Natalia's home-cooked meals are absolutely delicious (if my Cajun grandmother was Portuguese, she would be Natalia), and a great deal at 15 euros per person, with wine. "

"Fernado & Amelia were very welcoming and had generously left a welcome gift pack. We were given lots of information about services & things to do in the area. The outdoor living space with bbq & outdoor sink and plenty of charcoal together with the pool greatly enhanced our stay in early July. The only downside was there was no airconditioning (our error not noticing when booking) as in the 1st week temperatures were up to 40 degrees but fans were provided. A lovely peaceful setting."
