"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in La Nouvelle in Mosteiros, which is about a 40 minute drive from Ponta Delgada. The view from the place is just spectacular. I will definitely stay here again if I am able to visit Sao Miguel in the future. The place was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The host was very responsive to questions."

"It’s a beautiful setting in the garden. The home is roomy and cozy, it has everything you need. It had a musty smell which is typical, I kept the windows open always which got rid of the smell. Windows have screens which is much appreciated! It is below another apartment so you do hear some footsteps and noise. This is why I didn’t give it full stars. You can sometimes hear dogs and loud cars in the distance but it’s not too bothersome."

The house gave us a feeling of traditional, rural Azorean countryside living - Complete with cows and a lovely little horse in the pastures beyond. It is well situated and central to main highways and roads. António’s description of his house is completely accurate."

"Nous avons séjourné en famille 5 jours au mois d’Aout 2023 dans la maison La Nouvelle. La vue sur l’océan est magnifique, une route passe juste en dessous mais n’est pas bruyante et ne se voit pas depuis la terrasse. Nous avons pu profiter du siège suspendu pour regarder l’océan en fin de journée. Le logement est globalement bien équipé. 2 salles de bains bien pratiques. Notre fille a dormi dans le salon sur le canapé lit. La maison est située à 10min du centre ville à pied et 5 min de la plage...

"Upon arriving, we were cheerfully greeted by Bonita our hostess. Welcomed us with a nice walk-through and shared her wonderful knowledge of herbal teas growing there on the property which looks more like the garden of Eden. The Cottage had everything you needed to make you feel right at home but relaxed. The sculpture garden was such a pleasure to see! Edwardo, artist/ owner, gave us a special viewing of some of private collection. So how can you beat this? How about wild parrots flying about...
