And it was good to note that further upgrades were also being done with a new kitchen in the adjacent apartment. We were there 2 weeks and had 2 linen changes which was fine. The road outside was busy during the day but only due to a local diversion cause by road works nearby but we hardly noticed. And it was quiet at night. 3 grocery...

"desk staff has no flexibility dealing with credit card payments over the phone, I had phone issues upon reaching Madrid & the desk agent made me come to their office just to complete the payment process, just plain absurd since the office has my credit card info to reserve the unit, the agent could easily have easily processed the payment & give the entry code for the property over the phone, NO need for a subway ride to the office just to be given the entry code, what a hassle!"

"Great place on the outskirts of Madrid. 5 minutes from the Metro and 10 minutes on the Metro to the centre of Madrid. Very residential area. Flat 12 was ideal with a large balcony to watch the local world go by at night. 150 pounds deposit which wasn't expected but not a hassle! 20 euros for a taxi to the airport. Well worth it.
