"What an awesome stay! The place is nestled in the mountains a few km above Sao Vicente. You’ll need wheels! It is a typical village surrounded by locals - not a tourist in site. The perfect getaway! "Exactly as represented. Vitor assisted getting us settled and with his knowledge of local feasts and happenings. House had EVERYTHING you could possibly need while staying there. Clean and quiet. Vitor assisted us with baggage to and from the rental. Three minute walk uphill from the street parking, as noted in their VRBO ad. Would stay here again "

"Het huisje ligt rustig in de bergen. Je hebt een (huur)auto nodig om het eiland te verkennen. Uitzicht is mooi (je kijkt richting de oceaan) maar de inrichting is erg basis. Nauwelijks voorzieningen aanwezig in het huisje. Ze zijn wel bezig met opknappen en renoveren maar het is allemaal wat ouder/basic."

"Villa Cabouco was a great base for our extended family holiday. We had space for myself and my partner, our two little boys (0 + 3), my mother and sister as well as my parents in law. The kitchen was a great space for evening dining and the pool was lovely after a day out in the hills. Beware the approach road on first visit, however that's well flagged by Riccardo and Zohra on arrival. Would very happily return again!"
