"This was a great property located at the halfway point of the island so easy to explore either side. Close to a lovely beach and easy sea bathing with lots of shops too. The roads are steep but then they are anywhere in Madeira. Certainly a good workout if you decide to go walking on the numerous paths."

"Our family had an amazing time in this home in Companario! The pictures did not do the property justice. The views of the ocean and island surrounding us were spectacular! We were situated right at the top of the cliff allowing us to see both sides of the hillside neighborhood, including the beautiful church. "Fantastic villa and view! Quiet area and the sunset from the terrace and balconies were perfect after a good day exploring the island. We only wished the weather was a bit warmer to better enjoy the pool. Great location to visit the west and north of the island. Be aware you have a nice 10 min winding drive/climb to reach the villa from town center.!!. But this is part of Madeira charms!! Communication and instruction from the friendly host was very clear. I recommend this villa."
