"The property was very dated and in need of refurbishing,the bathroom definitely needs replacing . However the accommodation was clean . The location was just perfect & we had a sea view room that made up for the quality of the room . Breakfast was very poor and basic . We didn’t go after day 1 , there are lots of shops close by ,where you can grab foods & nice restaurants , A beautiful little town , "

"Amazing view especially at night. Pool is so lovely but a lil chilly in winter, great to practice some singing & swimming if a little cold. Also a great view with pool. Bathroom is beautiful and bed super comfy. Love the Big flower fan on the roof...love the kitchen space downstairs. Great place to stay!"

"Peaceful stay amid lovely Asian themed tropical gardens, dining room, outdoor lounges and guest room. Great sunset view from our room although up 3 flights of steps - this property could be difficult if you have mobility issues. Very good breakfast buffet and there is also a cocktail bar which also serves pool snacks (we were cooked for on our first night as well - friendly staff made it clear they would try and meet such requests where reasonably possible). Lovely infinity pool area with sea...

"This was a great property located at the halfway point of the island so easy to explore either side. Close to a lovely beach and easy sea bathing with lots of shops too. The roads are steep but then they are anywhere in Madeira. Certainly a good workout if you decide to go walking on the numerous paths."

"The accomodations were exceptional, a first class experience for all of our group. The hosts were very easy to reach if needed, and were quick to respond to any of our questions. Everything provided within the house was very modern and of exceptional quality, including the bedding, furniture, etc., etc. We would highly recommend this place if extravagance is what you are lookin for."
