"This restored farmhouse is great. Fruit trees and garden paths and even goats to feed. The pool was a bonus. Off the beaten path but we’ll worth the effort. The manager was lovely and helpful and I would recommend this property to everyone. One note the thresholds are low but even our 6’4” guest adapted. Great for a family or large group. Lots to entertain the youngsters."

"Stunning property with a view that will take your breath away. We were two families of 4 and the adults took one room each and the 4 kids slept in the large third room. Close to all the wonderful river beaches. Stayed 8 days. Manuela a great host. Pool is fantastic and there is a separate BBQ poolside if that is your thing. The road is quite rough getting there so if you hire a car then err on the SUV side and give it a clean before you return it! Don’t trust the Google map directions near...

"Charming house, very clean and well equipped. The small pool is perfect for toddlers that don’t know/are learning how to swim! Our daughter loved it! Wonderful setting in great location! Jane is the best! She is the sweetest and most helpful host! I totally recommend staying in casa de Alagoa! We had such relaxing days, I will definitely would like to come back with my family and/or friends :)"

"We stayed in a two bedroom apartment on the second floor. Really lovely property, very tastefully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for our short stay, including a washing machine for laundry. There is no front desk and so you will have to check-in at the Hotel Oslo. But the staff there were incredibly kind and gave us several route options to get to the property, considering the luggage and walking abilities of our party. "Hotel Oslo was very good, but confusing instructions of parking and then finding building with our unit. Lots of stairs, cute retro decor. "

Overflowing Hospitality!

"Really appreciated the warm welcome and offer of a drink from the staff upon our arrival. Also, the unique and gracious personal welcome letter the staff had written which was in our room. They were most helpful throughout our stay with info regarding restaurants, directions, parking, sights to see, etc. "
