"The papa cabin was great and just the right size for our weekend getaway. The only thing I would not give a 5 star on is location. It is not the easiest getting in and out especially in the dark. But overall a great place and would definitely recommend. "

"Overall it was a good experience, but there were a few flaws. The walls are very thin that you can hear people talk in the apartment next to it. Check in instructions were not very clear which made it difficult to get into the apartment. The decorations and amenities were good and clean. This isn’t the owner’s fault, but the fire alarm went off twice for no apparent reason (no one was cooking or doing anything that might set it off). It’s a good location. Overall 4/5 star stay. "

"We stayed at The Bear House over Thanksgiving weekend and truly enjoyed our stay! We were visiting our son and his family for the holiday and we were only about a one minute drive from his house. "Our hosts were very kind and helpful with info on local areas. The beds were super comfortable, which is not always the case with some VRBOs. Amenities were all there as needed...and it had a great shower. It was quiet and was perfect for a writers' weekend get away. Our book is nearly complete now!"
