"Interesting, unpretentious, old house, full of original features. History of the house and garden is fascinating. Spacious, quirky, and comfortable with beautiful high level garden. Great location."

"Lovely location, very spacious property with amazing spaces. Kitchen spacious and well equipped. Beds comfortable. bathrooms good. Great bonus as it wasn’t exactly “flaming June” was the snooker table, especially for the youngsters , there were many challenging matches! Outside facilities were great but because of the weather not uses apart from table tennis and basketball net. Plenty to see and do only a short drive away."

The location was amazing and the views from the house and hot tub were spectacular. "We enjoyed our stay here in a very confirtable cottage tucked away in the countryside. The beds were particularly comfortable. The hosts communicated well and we really enjoyed tge free range eggs they left us from their chickens. Plenty of birds and very dark so great for stars if it is clear."

"Stay was wonderful and we were very pleased with the presentation of the property and were not disappointed. There were a couple of fixtures which need attention, and would have liked the hot tub to have had a constant bubble setting, but other than that had a wonderful stay. We were very impressed by the letting agents communication and efficient reply to our queries."

"Lovely cottage but on a noisy road. Beautiful garden. Everything we needed including food essentials on arrival. Bonus to be able to park off road at the end of the garden. What puts us off staying again however was the bedding. Did not smell clean and fresh, pillows old, flat and stained, duvets the same. No smell of fresh laundry. We bought some pillows at Tesco on the first day as we didn't want to use those supplied."

Couple of doors need to be looked at i.e the bathroom upstairs and main bedroom upstairs but that is just being nit picky and doesnt effect your stay. Everything you need if you want to cook etc too. Great host, met lydia. Friendly and if you meeded anything was no trouble for her. 100% staying again"

"We stayed one evening at the home, my daughter, husband and I. The house was not in a great shape from the outside. Large amounts of chipping paint and nesting birds causing a badly muck stained window (nothing like in the advertising picture). Once inside, the house is in better shape and overall cleanliness inside was good, there is some nice decor too. However, outside the patio chairs and tables are in need of cleaning or changing and there were two large bags of rubbish. I did complain...
