"It’s the middle of summer and no fan is provided. I asked and they never responded. They saw my message on WA but chose to ignore me. Then when I called because their lock box was broken they answered the phone straight away. This property is LOUD. Friday night people walking by talking loudly and the adjacent busy road is also very loud. The stairs are STEEP. Not great for young children but we made it work. "Lovely stay, very convenient to the train station, cliffs walk and castle. Kitchen and laundry facilities available for use which was nice. Only downside was the sink in our room did not drain well so we didn’t really get to use it properly. "

"Stayed for 1 night before going to France. We were lucky to get upgraded. Only comment on the room was that we couldn’t get a cold shower but appreciate that’s not everyone’s requirement! We didn’t eat at the hotel because the lighting in the Coast restaurant was too bright and the lighting in the bar area was a bit dingy. It’s a shame these were unappealing because the rest of the hotel is nicely appointed. There are plenty of places to eat in easy walking distance of the hotel."
