"Large clean well equipped house. Stayed with 9 friends for a long weekend. House was perfect for all of us. Plenty of room seating area for all to sit together. "

But were terribly let down: (1) car parking was a problem (2) accommodation was basic with no "Visitors Book" to leave comments (3) beds were uncomfortable (4) cooking utensils were sparse. When we normally rent there is always a bottle of wine, a few biscuits or snacks and other bits and pieces to get started. Never Again."

"Handy location for Chichester and surrounding area. Property was clean and well presented although access to upper sleeping floor may present a challenge to those with limited mobility. Communication with owners was excellent and instructions to get to location were clear.Definitely one to stay at again."

"Farmhouse cottage is connected to the main farmhouse via a normal wooden internal door which remained unlocked throughout our visit. Having never met the owners we found this uncomfortable. Every noise could be heard through this doorway. Be it clear conversations or relentless dog barking . There is a wood burner that is situated in the main living room. For some reason the cottage room thermostat is also in this room and not in the coldest area. This means as soon as the fire was lit, the...

"A perfectly peaceful place to stay. Lots of walks direct from the door. Amberfold had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. And we even got to see a deer from the front door! Would love to come back to do the rest of the serpent trail. Hosts were great and unobtrusive, but checked to see we were settled."
