"We had a quick 3-night stay and found the space to be quite nice and well located in Raleigh. The neighborhood was nice and seemed to have lots of young families. Great house and the only critique we would have is to clean up the back deck a bit as it was pretty dirty, but it was also probably one of the first nicer weekends of the year so might be something the homeowner does in the next couple of weeks to get it ready for the spring/summer season. "House was as shown on website except the upstair’s bed in full size, not queen. Furniture and toilets not good for older people. Yard and patio are nice. Neighborhood is okay, but not great. Very close to downtown Raleigh. Pullen Park is a must especially when we were there, first week of April. Flowering trees, etc spectacular. "

"We loved our time at the Historic Oakwood Hideaway. The house is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. Our family of four plus dog were very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are comfortable, and the screened in porch was a great space for relaxing. The neighborhood is great for dog walking. We were in town to visit NC State, and the house is just a few miles away from campus, as well as great restaurants and shopping. Thanks for a great stay at this wonderful property!"
