"We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. Beautifully decorated. Beds and pillows were so comfortable. Rooms were quiet and very clean. Short walk to the dance hall and restaurants. Each room had a view of the river. Smelled wonderful!!!! We will be back for sure. "

"it was very poor, the thermostat to control the room temperature was out on the landing and it controlled 3 different rooms, I found our room hot so I turned the thermostat down before we went out for the evening, came back to find the room still hot, someone had moved the thermostat back up, presumable someone from one of the other rooms?? We then turned on the ceiling fan which must have been 50 years old, a big cast iron type fan, well the noise was unbearable, it was like a jumbo jet taking...

"The property was as advertized. It was very spacious and with many rooms to accommodate our family. Our host was very informative, and prompt to answer any questions we had. The kitchen was filled with pots, pans and utensils for all our cooking needs.The main family rooms had plenty of updated seating where we played many games and enjoyed the billiards table, which i would consider an upgrade or repairs. Unfortunately there is no first floor bathroom, but the elevator was very helpful to gain...

"Great place for a family or friends get away. The location was clean and as advertised. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and the notes about what to bring were helpful and accurate. Check in and out was super easy. The house and surrounding area fit our needs and the floor plan was extremely helpful to make sure it fits our groups needs. We loved it!"

"The location is very good on the river. The property is good size for a group of adults and children.The home is an older home and while it needs some attention in certain places the owner was very responsive. I am looking at coming back in the summer time. I"
