"This cottage is exactly what you expect a southern lakefront carriage to be. The space was perfect for the 6 of us. Each couple had a bedroom and there was plenty of space to sit and visit or share a meal. The back porch overlooking Lake Guntersville is screened in and such a wonderful place to enjoy nature with a good book. Parking was not an issue either as the driveway is long and had plenty of room for our three trucks and two boats. This is our second time booking this property and we hope...

"I really enjoyed staying here! I decided to come by myself and just get some peace, quiet, and relaxation. It was very comfortable. Loved the shower. A few Japanese beetles decided to come in, but no big deal as I get them sometimes at my home. Cell service is spotty, but to be honest....it was actually a blessing to be able to kind of disconnect. I will definitely be re-booking here in the near future! Thank you guys so much!"

"We thought we were going to have privacy. I saw we were offered the big house,that we didn't know was there until two days before our trip and I was given the address. I was told we could have stayed in the main house but there was someone in the main house. The coffee pot was sticky. we only stayed Friday night and didn't go back. I thought we had a private deck and felt like we were trespassing on the main house's deck. Not the privacy we thought from the pictures."

"I threw my sisters bachelorette trip here and it was so much fun! Everything looked brand new and seemed very clean. We only stayed a night but we needed to get there super early in the morning to set up decorations and we got to come in before the regular time (4pm) with no problem. And with the house only being about 10mins away from town, it was super convenient getting around, without being in the middle of all the busyness. There were plenty of rooms and beds for everyone.
