"This cottage is exactly what you expect a southern lakefront carriage to be. The space was perfect for the 6 of us. Each couple had a bedroom and there was plenty of space to sit and visit or share a meal. "I really enjoyed staying here! I decided to come by myself and just get some peace, quiet, and relaxation. It was very comfortable. Loved the shower. A few Japanese beetles decided to come in, but no big deal as I get them sometimes at my home. Cell service is spotty, but to be honest....it was actually a blessing to be able to kind of disconnect. "We thought we were going to have privacy. I saw we were offered the big house,that we didn't know was there until two days before our trip and I was given the address. I was told we could have stayed in the main house but there was someone in the main house. The coffee pot was sticky. we only stayed Friday night and didn't go back. I thought we had a private deck and felt like we were trespassing on the main house's deck. Not the privacy we thought from the pictures."
