"We have stayed in many VRBOs around the U.S., and Martin was by far the best host in terms of communication, responsiveness, and helpfulness. (To be clear, we've never had a negative hosting experience, but Martin stands out among a very positive group.) The property is great, spacious and well equipped. The location is excellent -- about a mile to the state park entrance, and walking distance (virtually across the road) to the parking lot for the St. Louis canyon. The Starved Rock cabins and lodge are iconic, but Grand Bear is better for anyone looking for a full kitchen and multiple bathrooms."

"Loved the villa, big enough for seven adults and two children. Private Washer and dryer in the villa. Well equipped kitchen. Near Starved Rock. Lots to do for kiddos. Water park fun, note some days not all water features running. Great onsite restaurant. Will go again"
