"We have a lovely view from our room, and the way this building is laid out, it seems all rooms are that way. Peaceful!"

"We stayed one night - January 26. I came up from Boston with my adult child who had to take a training at the Maine Maritime Academy in Castine. Being January, everything in Castine was closed - no hotels, nothing. this was the next closest place. I was very pleased. THe room was pristine. Looks like brand new carpet and flooring. The room and bathroom were immaculate. THe beds were very comfortable and the towels were of high quality. "

"It is a great place to stay. We love retro spaces and this is great! Lots of space, nice amenities and great views. Also a great outdoor area with a fire! Apparently they have a clientele that returns year after year because they all knew each other. We would go back any time. "

Staff was extremely friendly ,ice cold fruited water and warm chocolate chip cookies waiting for you on the buffet. Beds were VERY comfortable and the pillows were extraordinary!
