"With a family of 4, including 2 teenagers, its not always wast for everyone to love wverything about a place. But at kangastay, EVERYONE LOVED IT!! The vibe from the moment you park is one of relaxation and senerity, and the kids loved the committment to sustainability through composting. Many visitors before us left a pantry stocked with so many spices, etc. You can read all about how others liked it in the guest book left by the host for us to conteibute to. We all slept brilliantly and our nighly visits from 2 local wallabies was an absolute treat! Theres also a koala across the road that comes out at night too and we all enjoyed seeing him. The proximity to the grneral store in Vivonne Bay was a 1 minute drive and the Vivinne Bay veach is extraordinay, with sand as fine and soft as sugar. This will be a go to for us for our trips to KI. Highly recommend!!"

"Island Time was charming and spacious, with a big deck surrounded by trees. Beds comfortable, bathroom works well, and the kitchen is very well equipped: you could cook most things here. Its really quiet and peaceful, and the beach is close. We had a marvellous time and loved the wallabies and birds round the house. "

"Comfortable, unique and well designed accommodations in a gorgeous physical setting. We walked the large property and encountered beautiful wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies and koalas. Yael provided excellent, thorough guidance prior to our stay and Lina met us on site to provide further assistance with warmth and thoughtfulness. The retreat is near Flinders Chase National Park and a number of animal sanctuaries, all well worth a visit. We loved our visit to Ecopia Retreat! "

"Gorgeous secluded property in the middle of Kangaroo Island, sleeps many and perfect for groups of friends or a couple of families. So tranquil and a great spot for venturing out in different directions each day. Close to Little Sahara, Vivonne Bay, Seal Bay and the Raptors Domain. Would highly recommend!"

"Olivia was a lovely host who communicated well and very kindly even gave us an insightful and exciting farm tour. My son was able to pat working dogs and horses, feed chickens, collect eggs for his breakfast and see a horse and rider conducted cattle muster! In real life! The accomodation was very comfortable, and would suit any type of group, even large family groups! Fully private and self contained with all amenities, no ducted air or ceiling fans, but a log burning heater, complete with supply of logs and an outside fire pit. Main bedroom has a walk in robe and ensuite and house also has main bathroom with bath and shower and separate toilet. Decor And furnishings peaceful, tasteful and very comfortable Native animals around, and farm animals in sight over the fencing. Well situated in the middle of KI near small town of Parndana, which has a very good hotel/pub which does delicious and very reasonably priced meals. Parndana also has an interesting pioneer museum and a very eclectically chic new shop, opened by our host Olivia, coincidentally, which has a variety of beautiful KI produced and/or sourced items including antiques, homewares, skin care and clothing items. Unfortunately I missed the opening times, so I was disappointed, and had to make do with window shopping, but for future visits, I noted they are open Tues, Wed and Thursday 1100 - 3. Definitely worth a visit. The accommodation is also well placed to visit Flinders Chase National Park"
