"A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. "

Close to plenty of days out suitable for kids, went to Yorkshire wildlife park which we would highly recommend too. The garden space and lawn out the front was ample for kids to run around and play."

The photographs all suggest, incorrectly, that there are 3 bedrooms. The photograph of the bed in the living area is titled “double bedroom”, which it most definitely is not. "We bought the 3 night stay as gift for our son's birthday. After a 3 hour journey they could not access the property as the keysafe code we had been given was incorrect. My wife and I were out for a meal and spent over an hour trying to contact someone that could give us the correct code. Eventually after nearly 2 hour they were able to guess the code and gain entry. Customer service and support were pathetic and left them stranded in the rain."

"The cottage looks lovely from the outside and even better once you get inside. the owners have clearly taken a lot of time and effort to provide everything you need for your stay. I used a pair of light washable slippers provided. The kitchen was full of extras like cooking oil, and a welcome basket with biscuits and eggs.
