Montfair Resort Farm
2.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (78)
"This community of cabins is located off the beaten path, with little to no call phone coverrage. We booked this a few hours before arriving, while on the Skyline Drive. When we arrived the check in staff had left at 5:00. There was information posted outside, with wifi access (which helped me access my Expedia reservation information) and phone numbers to call (but no cell service). Our cabin # was posted, so we proceeded to the cabin to find it locked....and lock box with no code. We...

Shenandoah Crossing Resort with acres of wilderness
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (14)
"Our stay at the Shenandoah Crossing was wonderful! The setting was beautiful and the cabin was awesome! Very clean and modern with the rustic feel. All staff at the lodge were helpful and very nice! Our family enjoyed our stay very much! We’re already talking about making this a yearly trip! Thank you! The only thing I could suggest is to please list the incidental fee amount on the confirmation information. Other than that our trip was much more than we anticipated!!"

"5 siblings (sisters) stayed at the cabin. We could spread out all of our “belongings” 2 1/2 baths a plus in addition to the 3 bedrooms. The outside area could use some sprucing up.i.e. Cabins need to be restained, not enough parking for company. Vegetation around cabins should probably be eliminated. The pavillion by the pool was great for a visit with our many cousins, ample parking. Loved the new pickleball courts. It would be handy to have paddles to rent. I didn’t bring enough. Wanted to...

"Sadly, our yurt was covered in spider webs that hadn’t been cleaned and we had rodents, spiders (wolf and black widow!!) and couldn’t sleep. Otherwise I will say we had fun, liked the property and things to do. Would just not stay in a yurt again."

Lovely Wooded Cabin with Numerous Trails On-Site!
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (60)
"We needed a break from the 2024 election craziness and headed towards the foothills. Langley Cottage was perfect. Sitting on the porch, taking in the Fall foliage with a glass of wine was very relaxing. The Host, Barb was wonderful! She offered a fire log for the fireplace so the ambiance was a nice touch."
