"Was very nice to see a few staples available upon check in. This made for a much more relaxed atmosphere. Just far enough away from the town to enjoy the quiet, yet close enough to make a short trip to obtain essentials. The only addition we'd recommend is a small fenced in area for little ones. The road behind the house can get busy at times. Would highly recommend for a weekend getaway. Cheers,"

"We brought our grandson with us to visit the Gettysburg sites. That experience was wonderful, but so was having a fishing hole across the street. The house was comfortable and quiet. The countryside was gorgeous on our rides to and from town. Our hosts were very accommodating and friendly. "

"We stayed here while in town for a wedding. We had 13 adults and one child. This is such a neat old house with so many cool features. We had a fun time exploring the house and admiring the unique features like the Jefferson doors to the porches, the old coal dump, and all the super cool antiques in the home. All of the bedrooms have a sink in them which was really awesome and helpful for when we were all getting ready at the same time. Our only feedback is that the pillows were a little hard and...

"Great family vacation. 3 generations including young grandchildren enjoyed our stay last year and wanted to come back again this year. Beautiful, peaceful and home is a beautiful old farmhouse surrounded by fields. We definitely made use of the pool. Grandkids asked before we left if we could come back again next year. "This property had stunning views! While we were there for just a short weekend we had a blast. We brought our own fishing poles but we did see that the house was stocked with them. We watched the sunset from the hot tub most evenings. The house was clean and comfortable and just a short 15-20 minute drive to the town of Gettysburg. We drove 2-minutes over to Liberty Ski Resort for dinner and breakfast. I highly recommend this house!"

"We had a wonderful stay. The home was very clean and the furnishings were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Even thought it was on Old Rt 30, it was still very quiet and our dogs were able to feel safe and secure. Close to everything we wanted to see, downtown gettysburg, the battlefield, & adams county winery."

"We were visiting Gettysburg and this was a great location, even though it's about 30 mins away. Very quiet and relaxing. Lovely home with great views. New appliances, large dining table, comfortable living room. We couldn't use the fireplace because there was no wood and we didn't want to go on someone else's property to find some! check in and out was very easy. Four of us had a great time. We didn't go up to the loft because the staircase is winding and narrow - too hard for anyone...

"The house was very clean and smelled so good! It was quiet and peaceful! The towels were large. The beds were very clean (my daughter, who is picky about the sheets she sleeps on, had no problem sleeping here). The muffins they left for us were a thoughtful idea and tasty! The air conditioning did a great job. It was a little different to get to the second bedroom through the first bedroom. The curtains that were there for privacy was a good idea! We would stay here again, gladly!"

We loved the fireplace, the lights on the deck, and were happy it was stocked with games -- we had fun asking each other Trivia questions. We also got to see a deer wander onto the lower part of the property. Would definitely recommend & would stay there again."
