"Our stay was pleasant. The place was roomy and all amenities needed. The views were wonderful. Our only gripe is that the owners live downstairs and you can hear talking, movies/music etc so wouldnt recommend if you are seeking complete privacy. A lady that was looking for a women called Jane actually walked right in to our rented home. We thought that was a bit forward and shocked that she thought it was okay to just walk in without even a knock. But thats not the owners fault, just poor...

"We were visiting the area to see family over the holidays and had a wonderful Christmas at the house. It was immaculately clean, very comfortable, and had everything we needed to prepare dishes for our Christmas celebration. It was a special surprise to walk in and have the house already decorated for Christmas, including a Christmas tree. The location is a little remote but beautiful and was perfect for us."

"We stayed here while in town for a wedding. We had 13 adults and one child. This is such a neat old house with so many cool features. We had a fun time exploring the house and admiring the unique features like the Jefferson doors to the porches, the old coal dump, and all the super cool antiques in the home. All of the bedrooms have a sink in them which was really awesome and helpful for when we were all getting ready at the same time. Our only feedback is that the pillows were a little hard and...

"Perfect location to get together with sisters to bake and be kids again. The kitchen was very accommodating for the 4 of us to bake Christmas goodies and not step on each other. "

"This property was comfortable with lots of little extras to make the stay pleasant. The location was a quick drive to Chambersburg to grab some groceries/carry out or to walk the rail trail. Or you can drive a little further to Shippensburg or Caledonia. The kitchen was well equipped, the oven and stove worked well, and we found some basics in the pantry...plus some extras like a great pancake mix! We found the two larger beds to be comfortable and there are lots of blankets to choose from to...

"The house and surrounding farm are absolutely stunning! The house is cozy, comfortable and offers everything you could possibly hope for in a vacation property. The perfect getaway to enjoy family and friends. My wife and I hated to leave!"

"Had a wonderful time at the farmhouse. Property owners were very accessible to address an issue with one of the stairs. We originally could not get in using the steps provided, but after the incident we had no issues. It was a great space to host 13 individuals. My only suggestion is to have more lighting. I would rent farmhouse again. "

"The house was well decorated, super clean and in a great location, very close to the Liberty Ski resort. It also had plenty of kitchen and bathroom essentials. Beautiful view of the lake, there is also a nice big playground next to the lake. The only downside was the staircase-it's a little tight. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. "

"Had a great time going to Liberty Mountain and stayed with family and friends over the weekend. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. The only improvement I could see is listing out what tools/condiments/utensils are available in the kitchen since it’s hard to know what to bring for a big group, eventually get better quality beds, and have more towels for a larger group. Other than that it was beautiful and super fun and modern! Thank you! "

"This property was perfect for our family weekend trip to tube and ski at Liberty! The house is less than 1 mile from the resort which made it very convenient for multiple trips back and forth. We have 4 children (ages 20, 18, 16, and 16) and they all had a great time. We loved that we could bring our dogs with us, the kitchen was well equipped for us to cook big meals each night, the TVs were all setup for streaming, and the hot tub was a huge plus! Our kids loved winding down in the hot tub...

"This is our second time at this property. It’s about 20 minutes from Whitetail Resort. It was a great place to wind down after a day of skiing. Spacious and comfortable. Because of heavy snowfall in the afternoon, there was about 4 inches or more of snow in the driveway and my car got stuck. "Enjoyed this stay right next to a beautiful trout stream with and Woods . We had everything we needed along with YouTube tv available to sign into. (Glad we started YouTube tv so it made it easy to have all our saved programs for this trip. Had a great time in Gettysburg ."
