"This place was such an amazing place to stay at. The rooms are each decorated in unique and neat ways, the custom breakfast in the morning is such a great time save and pretty tasty. 208 - Ms. Hetty's Room - James Buchanan Hotel
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (2)
"We stayed at the James Buchanan Hotel during a trip to whitetail for skiing and the hotel was my favorite part of the experience. It was cozy, clean, and they even upgraded our room. It was so much fun to go to the pub in the hotel. The manager of the pub was so attentive and polite and everyone made sure we had a great stay. I can’t say enough nice good things about this place and I hope we will go back someday soon!"

"The term "hotel" is a little misleading as it is more like an inn where there is no hotel staff onsite. An innkeeper greeted us to check us in and give us a tour of the property. The room was very clean and comfortable. We also visited the onsite restaurant, which was lovely. The food was excellent! Unfortunately, there were no real options for breakfast in town and no shopping or entertainment. If you stay here, be prepared for a quiet night in."

Apple Blossom Cottage! HT Extra Cost

"We came from Michigan we like to try different places instead of just sitting on a beach for our vacations. This place is only 10-15 minutes from Gettysburg. 1 hour and 10 to Antietam, Maryland. If you are interested in visiting historical places. Elizabeth was very helpful in anything we needed. We had an issue with the hot tub but she came right out to handle it. This is not a big place but that is exactly what we wanted. There is no dining room, table just table trays. The bed was...
