The Most Amazing Home

"I'm not sure I can think of enough superlatives to describe this home. I travel full-time, so I stay in a lot of short-term rentals, and this one shines above the rest. The host has thought of everything a guest could possibly need and has provided it. The home is beautifully designed and stocked without feeling cluttered. There are several very nice mid-century modern furniture pieces. The beds are comfortable. The location is absolutely stunning. The home sits on a very quiet street, and the yard backs up to the inlet making for a perfect peaceful forest retreat. To sit out back and watch the sandpipers come in to hunt for dinner as the tide goes out is pure bliss. Highly recommend. "

"The bed was superb - I wanted to take it home with us. The restaurant next door was outstanding. I had my favorite meal three times and their staff were excellent. Reservations are recommended. "

"This is a cool hang. It's got a 70s vibe and the staff are hospitable. We brought our dog and they gave us a bag with treats and a hotel towel to clean his paws. We played ping pong outdoors. This place is quiet and a quick drive or bike ride to Tofino or to the beach. Will be back!"

"My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay. With 2 teenagers the space was needed. The street was on a quiet dead-end road, which we appreciated. The suite was clean and comfortable. There was a lot of room to spread out; my wife and I enjoyed a drink on the balcony most days. The location was perfect for us, but it depends what you are looking for. It was a very short walk to a small shopping area (Tacofino, Wildside Grill, an amazing ice cream store, a small convenience store, and others), a short walk to Mackenzie beach, and a little walk to the local brewery and a fish market. It was a longer walk (but easily doable) to town of you like to be in a be in a busier area, but the distance was perfect for us. The owner/manager, Ken, was very helpful. He ran into us a few times when we were walking and would check if we needed anything or needed any tips to enjoy the community. I would recommend for my friends and family. "
