"We rented this property for a month. The chalet was the perfect home base for our activities in the Chamonix valley. It is very convenient to the train, buses, shops and restaurants and the chalet itself has a nice layout with beautiful views of Mont Blanc and Aiguille du Dru."

"Les Alouettes was as described. A great chalet for two families of four with extra 2 beds on a mezzanine. It was a shortish walk to a button/T-bar lift/bus to gondola - we used hire car to go to car park nearer lifts as too far for children in ski-boots. Not many food shopping outlets so worth getting a shop delivered (very efficient Coop service). The chalet was really comfortable with very good facilities for cooking (we didn't eat out at all). "Although this rental was not for myself, I arranged this stay for friends of ours. Communication with the host was very easy and always fast with a very helpful tone. The family staying there comprised all ages. Whilst the chalet is certainly of a high standard, it was not suitable for families with younger kids. "Nous avons passé un très beau séjour au chalet de la diablerie. La propriété est très bien équipée et à proximité des chemins de randonnées. La vue de la montagne de la terrasse est magnifique et le coucher du soleil illumine les monts d'une lumière légèrement rosée. Ces 14 jours en juillet nous ont ressourcés et le temps de plus était vraiment très beau. Le soir la température tombe vers les 20 degrés ce qui permet de passer des nuits agréables. "We were a party of 10 (2 families). The Chalet suited us perfectly. 4 x double bedrooms and a "kids" room. Hot tub was excellent. Very convenient for the Barbossine Chair lift, though unfortunately in February 2024 there wasn't enough snow to be able to ski back down, so we had to get the bus from town. The first few days we tried to get Bus 2 form Super Chatel, but it was always rammed and we had to wait about an hour, then we worked out that if we got on a Linga we always got the first bus...

"Het huis was heel fijn, van alle gemakken voorzien. We waren met 14 personen en de keuken was hier goed in voorzien. Ook heel fijn dat iedere kamer een eigen badkamer heeft. Voor de bus naar Pre la Joux moet je een klein stukje omhoog lopen, is op een paar minuten loopafstand. Het centrum kun je lopend bereiken, ongeveer 20 minuten. We zouden het huis zeker aanraden!"

"We were family of eleven ranging from 2 years to 67 years old. We loved the layout and the fact that the rooms all had bathroom with showers. It was clean and well stocked with cookware amd dishes etc. and in a great neighborhood. Beds were very comfy. It has amazing views and was very close to Chamonix center. Three things would have made it even better: a couple of good knives, a few light blankets or throws, and laundry hanging lines in bathrooms. Thank you Jayne and Jonathan!"
